Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
For those people who had build for the first time an application in Visual studio that uses Crystal Reports and attempted to run it on another PC you probably got this error:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly ‘CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms, Version=10.2.3600.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304′ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: ‘CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms, Version=10.2.3600.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304′
This is because the app needs some dlls from Crystal Reports for work correctly.
I did a lot of research on Internet and all the blogs, forums, and others sites including MSDN telling you to download a Redistributable file ( CrystalReportsRedist2005_X86.msm ) from a broken link ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/es-es/ms225386.aspx ). After some hours later I found that the same file is under:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\BootStrapper\Packages\CrystalReports
Called: CRRedist2005_x86.msi
So, you only need to install this executable on the computers that are going to run your app.
If you don’t have that file i have uploaded here.

Juan Carlos, dejame decirte que tienes un 100; hay mucha información que como dices te manda a in link que no existe o buscar el archivo que todos dicen y no lo encuentras por ningun lado en la red; sin embargo, esta en la maquina local, que ironico, no???

Estoy intentando bajar para instalar el archivo espero que funcione en windows vista businness
hola, mil gracias, solo una duda lo instale en un servidor de producción (win 2000 server), pero al momento de ver los reportes no muestra los iconos de impresion, exportar, zoom, etc y al precionar el botón lanza el reporte ok pero no se puede imprimir (Objet error), agradeceria su aporte.
